XRT Acting Credits: Preacher Haggler (Dark Of The Moon)

What the XRT Means To Me…: Community. As an actor in Los Angeles it is very easy to feel like a product and to feel like you are out there on your own, but here I am a part of an ensemble that allows me to further my training, push myself farther and grow as an artist. There is a support system of artists and teachers who strive to create a safe and supportive space to learn not just the business of acting but the craft. It is a group of like minded artists who love what they do and chose to do it in a way that is about respect, encouragement and bravery. I am honored to be an Alumni of the Conservatory Training Program and to be associated with such talented and generous professionals.

Why I Do What I Do…: It is my calling! I can’t do otherwise. I tried running away from it and that got me a degree and a job and a 20 year hiatus from acting…Eventually your true self comes calling, I couldn’t ignore it any longer.

Did You Know? That Robert has a degree in Interior Architecture and used to be a competitive figure skater. And the best medicine besides laughter is chocolate with bacon.
